In partnership with the community, the Downtown Development Authority of Flint plans to attract entrepreneurs into existing vacant buildings, assist existing and new businesses by offering financial incentives; create a brand image; promote the downtown as a destination area with unique shops, restaurants, and retail stores; and organize events and activities in the downtown.
