Project Manager Internship

Position Description:

The DDA is looking for future leaders wanting experience in Community engagement and Strategic partnerships, managing project along the city. As an Intern Program Manager, you will oversee all logistics of the intern program.

Matching Grant Internship

Position Description:

Come learn how a passion for writing can translate into a fulfilling, recession-proof career in the common good! The Grant Writing Intern supports The DDA in researching grant opportunities, preparing applications, writing narratives, and performing program evaluation activities for grant-funded programs. Additionally, they will observe and assist in program development conversations, learn about the different functions of a city entity focusing on (communications, marketing, PR, fundraising, grant writing), assisting other staff as needed with writing and development projects.

Parking Enforcement Officer

Position Description:

Operates Parking ordinance enforcement vehicle to patrol public streets, City-owned parking lots, parking meters, structures, commercial parking areas, enforcing parking ordinances, responding to related parking complaints. This position is also responsible for daily enforcement of the public service day parking ordinance, City code, and ECT. This is limited authority enforcement work under the general supervision of the Ordinance Enforcement Coordinator; however, this Parking Enforcement Officer is expected to exercise independent judgment and initiative.

Maintenance Worker

Position Description:

The maintenance worker is a full time position that carries out general maintenance duties of property and facilities managed by the Downtown Development Authority (DDA).

Events Coordinator

Position Description:

The Event Coordinator collaborates with internal and external partners to produce and/or promote events throughout the Downtown Development Authority. The position requires event production skills to assist with the coordination and execution of a variety of meetings and events, including responsibility for all event agendas, communications strategy, and general needs from concept to finished project to create successful outcomes with events in DDA spaces.
